About Lemos Construction
At Lemos Construction, we believe a home should reflect the people who live in it—built with integrity, craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to those we serve. Founded and led by Derek Lemos, our company is rooted in Lawton, Oklahoma, and dedicated to providing high-quality remodeling, painting, and roofing services to families and businesses across our community.
A Local Foundation
Derek, a proud Lawton native and graduate of Lawton High School, began his journey in the trades more than 20 years ago as a painter. Through hard work, hands-on experience, and a drive to learn every part of the construction process, he grew from a single-trade painter into a full-service remodeling contractor. Today, Lemos Construction delivers all phases of remodeling, with special expertise in:
- Full home remodels
- Interior and exterior painting
- Residential roofing and storm restoration
Our Promise
At Lemos Construction, we stand on:
- Quality craftsmanship
- Honesty in communication
- Respect for every home and family we serve
- A commitment to doing work the right way—every time
When you choose Lemos Construction, you’re choosing a company built on faith, family, and a passion for helping our community grow stronger.
Family-Owned. Community-Focused.
Derek is a father of five, and family is at the center of everything he builds—both at home and in business. That same commitment extends to the community.
Lemos Construction is proud to support and sponsor many local programs, including:
- Lawton High Football
- MacArthur Tennis, Football, and Baseball
- Eisenhower Wrestling
- Meals for foster families organized by Kristen Murphy
- Community youth sports camps
- Various local school events, athletics, and outreach initiatives
Giving back isn’t just a choice—it’s a calling. Derek leads the Men’s Ministry at Dayspring Community Church, where he believes God has equipped him with resources, skills, and opportunities to serve others. Whether on a job site, in the church, or out in the community, his mission is the same: to make a positive impact wherever he can.
